Summer 2009 CVS Pops Concert at the Lowry Theater in St. Paul, featured a wonderful pop/rock band music directed by Eric Franzen. Students performed favorite Popular songs from the last 40 years with style, staging and focus. Rehearsals were fun and challenging and each singer learned more about what it takes to perform contemporary music with a full band and microphone. Performing to a full house and catered by CVS and Buca di Beppo, it was a happy and successful evening for all!!!

Fall 2006 Classical Recital was held this year in the J.J. Hill House, an elegant, historical St. Paul mansion with grand piano and cello. The program included a magnificently diverse program of solo and ensemble medieval songs, German Lieder; English Renaissance; French, Italian and Finnish Art Songs and opera arias. As is our tradition each year, our youngest singer opened the evening with the time-honored 17th Century Italian Art Song, Caro mio ben. this concert was so large that we had to divide into two evenings, each one as wonderful as the other!

Winter 2006 Student Rock and Roll Concert rocked in the New Year to a sold out house at the World-Famous Fine Line Music Café with a five-piece rock band, and there was no rock left unrolled at the end of this slammin’ show of classic songs of our time!

Spring 2005 Classical Recital at Grace-Trinity Community Church was a beautiful success with a selection of French, German, Italian, Spanish, Nicaraguan, English Renaissance Art and Traditional folk songs arranged in a classic style. As usual, we were blessed with sensitive and inspired piano accompaniment by Mary Goetz and lighting, audio and video recording by Ed Wons of JPC Productions.

Summer of 2004 brought a wonderful opportunity to explore the Jazz genre with a 12 hour workshop headed by Minneapolis-based greats, Bruce Henry and Prudence Johnson. And then on to a jazz ‘gig’ for all participants at one of the leading jazz clubs in the Twin Cities. We performed to a packed house with a jazz trio of Twin Cities Jazz greats, Chris Lomheim, Tony Axtell and Greg Schutte.

Summer of 2003 began with a very funky rhythm and blues concert at Musictech Auditorium in St. Paul, replete with a very rocking full band, lights, sound lots of r&b harmonies and MOVES! This was an opportunity for all singers to learn and experience the art of singing lead as well as backing vocals on many of our timeless R & B classics. We had an audience of nearly 200 and it was a huge success for all!

Summer 2002, concert featured theatrical repertoire, old and new, at the beautiful Southern Theatre in Minneapolis. Each piece was staged, lit and choreography as it would have been in a full theatrical performance and it was thrilling to work in this beautiful theater!

Our Winter 2002 concert was professionally staged at the beautifully resonant Grace-Trinity Church, an old stone church in Uptown. Our performance theme for this concert was 17th, 18th and 19th century "art songs" (precursor to the modern "pop song").

Our Summer 2001 concert recital featured another professional production of our normal eclectic mix of music styles in performance in the exquisite indoor flower garden at the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul.

Our Summer 2000 concert featured performance of pop, theatre, country, classical and rock music with a full band, lighting and world class sound system at the Acadia Cabaret in Minneapolis
